Born on 29th August, 1958, Michael Joseph Jackson is a noted American entertainer, recording artist, song writer and businessman. A member of the Jackson family, Michael made his first debut as a member of The Jackson 5 at the age of 11. He began his sole career in 1971 while still being closely associated with the group members. Also referred as the King of Pop, five of his albums named Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and HIStory are some of the world’s best selling records. He became a dominant figure of pop music and the first African American entertainer to build up strong crossover on MTV.
